You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Early ride, Sunday 8th July

Post by billinom8s »

LEAVING the Service station at junction 27 of M5 at 6am.

please make sure you are fueled up and ready to leave. There will be a fuel/food stop. Other than that the idea is to get some miles in whilst the roads are empty.

Heading into Somerset.

Drop off system, keep the bike behind you in your mirror.

I've to be back to Teignmouth by 10 so only out for a few hours.

Seriously pissed that I am unable to do this ride.

Apparently the wife feels the world will end if I attend as we clearly do not spend enough time together and this is me disappearing again. The fact that she will lay in until 9am anyway makes me even more pissed. Grrrrrrrrr

Anyway guys enjoy and have fun on the clear roads in the sun shine

THEY WILL BE OUT THERE TOMORROW SO PLEASE KEEP AN EYE OUT.

Camera Locations

Dorset Police’s ‘No Excuse’ team are out in the county tackling inconsiderate and dangerous driving.

The team aims to use a combination of enforcement and education to tackle the ‘fatal five’: drink and drug driving, excessive and inappropriate speed, not wearing a seatbelt, driver distractions such as hand-held mobile phone and careless driving.

The 'No Excuse' team will deploy to collision/casualty sites with visits to speed complaint/community concern sites as resources allow as per the dates below. The team will deal with any offences detected whilst travelling to those locations and will move to new locations not listed below if deemed to be of operational necessity.

They operate 24-hours a day seven days a week – they could be anywhere at any time.

See below for the 'No Excuse' team’s recent and planned activity over the next couple of weeks:

Sunday 8th July

Sounds like a good reason not to go to Dorset!

Rob, get up and get the kids/her out at 7.30 so she gets to spend the whole day with you ......

With luck, I will be getting in from work and heading for bed as you folk head out ....

Had a similar thought. Having got up at 6am this morning and driven them to London and back today to go to a food show think I will be loving and caring and get them both up (kick there asses out of bed) nice any early tomorrow so they can maximise there special time with me.

Perhaphs a magical long walk in the 30 deg heat *-:) *-:) :!! ~x(
