Autumn Dirty Dozen Ride - part 2

Post by Robbo87 »

Sunday Sept '23rd. Or if crappola weather - Sunday Sept' 30th.

Yup folks, you guessed it, part 2 of the Dirty Dozen Ride takes over from part 1.

I'll be getting my own back on Brian the Busa by taking over lead - it'll be Phil the Fut for the next hundred and a bit miles.

Notes:
Volunteer for TEC needed please, but If no-one steps up, we'll draw lots for it - - TEC NOW SORTED - thanks Andy (Ming) :-bd
We'll continue with the drop-off system, but if you lose sight of the rider in front just keep going until you see the next junction marker - and ride faster  !!
Pace will still be 'making progress'; with no heroics in the villages please, there'll be plenty of miles for the Marques/Rossi wannabe's to amaze and astound us seniors - or not!

Concise route details:
1. Depart Hartland Quay after lunch break.
2. Fuel stop after 50-ish miles (approx' 75 miles since fuel stop at Torrington on part 1 ride).
4. Coffee, cake, re-group & banter stop - approx' 80 miles.
5. Arrive McDonalds Tivvy around 1600 hrs-ish.
6. Total part 2 distance: Approx' 112 miles.

Right then, I see places are filling fast - only three left when I checked last. So if you want to be included use Brian's (ptolemyx) post to add your names.

It's filling fast folks :D , now only two places left :80: . Pop along quick to Brian's 'Part 1' to get your name down.
If/when the list is full, I'll start a reserve list here on my 'Part 2' post. That list will remain active right up until the eve of the ride date, and will be a case of 'top name on the reserve list gets first shout on any space that becomes available'. So if you're on the reserve list please keep an eye out.

Due to our Si's determination to knacker his headstock bearings at a wheelie weekend :? , we now have one space left :D .
So if you wanted to be part of our 200 mile-plus Dirty Dozen ride out but thought you'd missed out :( , fret not; stop your wailing and gnashing of teeth :(( , put the Hari-Kiri knives away, get on over to Ptolemyx's 'Part 1' post and sign up quick before another sucker - sorry, sorry :? :? , dissapointed person beats you to it!

Don't forget to put your name down here as reserve if you don't make the main list in time . . . ..
