Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

I'm feeling sad, as the weather looks shite and today looks the best day of all the days to come. Come on the weather man, give us a window of decent dry days........... :( Or maybe as Si mentions, I might just wet myself.

Yup, it's all looking a bit carp for tomorrow :(. I'll leave the final call until around 8.00 p.m. tonight - with an alternative date if needed.

Four Counties Rideout on 14th Oct' postponed; Now on for Sunday 28th October

That's basicaly it folks.

All the weather oracles say the same thing - The heavy rain front will start over the westcountry again tonight and continue east through the day. So we'd be chasing continuous rain, simple as that.

So we'll do do the ride on Sunday 28th October instead - the long-range forecast looks favourable.

However :) - and so as not to give up a ride that easily tomorrow :D :D , I'm going to re-assess the situation in the a.m. and if it's clearing from the west as forecast I'll take a ride out that way, leaving Sainsburys in Ottery EX11 1BW at 1100 hrs. Anyone want to join me? I'll aim to be in Bridge M/C's at 1130 if Ottery isn't suitable for a meet.

Right, I'm off to the pub to get wet on the inside :D .
