Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

i've a planed route back up through cornwall that dances around the 38 and 30 and gets us back up as for as Okehampton. There's a few places to eat up around that way, pubs etc or we can just wing it and stop where we want.

the route has been sent to Badger to cast his pixie eye over. The route is a bit North n South but has been created using google maps and also street view if the roadas looked dodgy( soooooo many real roads on the map in Cornwall are actually stupid little goat tracks)

thr route down is a little harder to deviate on as we need meeting points that are 24hr open, provide fuel and toilets. Also if we head off into the wilderness or B roads at 4am then it will slow down the progress but also runs a risk at ceating animal connections. I'd love to head out over the moors but don't fancy all the sheep, cows and horses that we will meet.

Yup, a straight run down to Lands End in the very early a.m. using trunk and A roads to get there before the ticket booth opens makes sense, I'd worked that out already. Twas only the return I was interested to know about; any chance of a p.m'd preview?

I've overviewed the route, all good now. Its fairly wide and tarmac, but don't forget, its Cornwall and all roads are tractor routes!First IMPORTANT change to the usual route is the First Pick Up Point. Normally we go to St. Austell, this year it will be Cornwall Services, there is fuel and Toilets, unlike ST Awful Tesco! There are also drinks and snacks, but be aware this is a fuel and Pick up stop only, if you can refuel and drink a coffee in 10 minutes, go for it, if not stick to fuel and toilet. You won't be very popular if 25 riders are sat waiting for 1 caffine addict to blow on his Costa till its drinkable!

One thing I will be stressing now and on the Day, to facilitate this route it will take a bit longer than normal, so when we stop for breakfast at Sullivans Diner you will all need to be prompt in ordering, collecting and eating. The roads get stuffed with tourists from 9.30 onwards so we need to get on the road, be fueled up and on our way , half an hour/ forty five minutes after arrival. Listen out for me, I'll give plenty of warning before we are leaving though.

That's all for now, see you in the Spring!

can only really go SW there and NW back.

trouble is that it's cornwall, summer, we're all tired and there's tons of traffic. I've come up with a route and the pixie has approved it so hopefully it will be a little more varied than before.
