If memory serves, the last trip cost me around £7-750 all in, incl insurances, etc., and paying for most of someone elses fuel ......

I'm still interested, depending on dates, by the way :)

That looks superb value and a great place so even if we don't go with you it was a great link to see. We are tied to the academic holidays so September would not work for us. We might look into it for May half term next year though.

It is amazing. 2013 when we last went, it worked well. It's the experience of being abroad, staying in the best ever biker B&B run by very helpful, knowledgeable bikers, ken and Lesley. A day on the ferry and riding for a few hrs, you're there for dinner. So not a marathon effort to get there. Lovely routes and day excursions or not if you don't fancy it.
All in all a great trip for the Euro Novice, or more seasoned tourers alike.

ok guys and girls have got next years ferry times thinking as follows
poole - Cherbourg Monday 5th sept leaving 8.30 £52
Cherbourg - poole Saturday 10th leaving 18.30 £59

there is a return crossing on the Friday

so that's 4 or 5 nights

need some definite yes or no will be taking deposits £50 any questions let me know
this will be a relaxing break people can please there selves how much they ride or where they go the longest distance will be from port to base which is less than 200 miles
