Ace Cafe

Post by TheFitter »

So The Ace Cafe... is it all that? Want to go to say I've been
but is it worth it?
Thinking of organising a ride up, maybe over the bank holiday
at the end of May so just after some advice?!
Thanks

It's just a café on the North Circular - most of the time.

Mid week, there may be a couple of cars/bikes there of interest.

Go there when an event is on (most evenings or weekends - look on their website) and it can be very interesting.

There is quite a bit of memorabilia around the place plus a neat little shop selling their merchandise. Worth going to tick it off the bucket list but include it with something else rather than go there just to visit the cafe.

Like Triumph, the Ace has probably done more/sold more since it's relaunch than it did first time round.

It's not at all bad if you're in the area or going to attend one of the meets.

Usual Chav kids around at certain times, but they hold some cool meetings too. The Two strokes meetings are good fun.

Been a few times, and as already said its just a café tbh...prepare for the 4 lane crossover to get back onto the A40  and yeah maybe go when theres something going on, but I'd avoid the Friday night. It may well have changed but that was a pretty mental night out, a bit lawless and yes people did get hurt :/
