No Hartland Quay nowadays? Twas my first ever taste of steep bendy racing, good fun but it took days for my liver to recover from the socialising !

No Hartland Quay nowadays? Twas my first ever taste of steep bendy racing, good fun but it took days for my liver to recover from the socialising !

The socialising has slowed up a bit now , you no longer see competitors asleep on the picnic tables outside the bar at 8 am from the night before and competing at 10 am after a hearty few black coffees

Just noticed the Hartland Quay dates, must've missed 'em earlier .
Not quite the same as it always was then - first and last meetings of the year are as usual but seems the night before's prodigious alchohol consumption's been toned down. Shame, that was the best bit, it steeled my nerves to climb aboard the outfit and face that hill come Sunday morning ! Good times .
