Some years after I was there, so any possible coincidence fully denied, but apparently one of my college lecturers actually did that to himself (using a chainsaw). Sadly it was a once only situation ....

If they lift it, best get a good supply of body bags and dig some large holes.

I have on good authority they have diggers on standby , and know they have hired strategically placed refrigerated trailers and containers all over the country , they have been in place for many weeks

Is that a spoof or is IDS really that insane, perhaps he's related to Trump?

They're probably ready to open up the mad cow trenches. The stink round here when they were burning the piles of cattle was not nice, suppose the human mass cremations will smell the same.

I remember that well mate, very upsetting as i used to work on farms , the foot and mouth epedemic seemed to be restricted to devon and cumbria , and just kinda moved into the neighbouring counties, I can still see the piles of animals in certain fields as i drive around the county now . as you say the smell was horrible , I used to travel to scotland evry week in those days , once you got north of Taunton you lost the smell but picked it up again around Penrith up to above Lockerbie ,
