Has anyone ridden the North Coast 500 ?
I’m looking to go up towards the end of May but unsure how many days it’ll take. I don’t intend to race round but I’ve read different accounts of some taking anything from a single day to a week.
I’ve toured Europe in the past, but the roads were pretty easy going doing around 300 miles in a day was no problem, I don’t think the NC500 is quite the same.
Also if anyone can recommend any spots to visit or places to stay.
Cheers

Re: Scottish NC500
It's a beautiful ride with great scenery and roads, the downside is the sheer volume of motorhomes. Your chances of racing round it are close to zero outside of 1-6am.

we did the east coast from inverness up to john o groats and back in a day last year. Apparently all the best scenery is up the west coast
