Specs on M5
Does anyone know if the SPECS cameras that are still in place now the 50mph limit has gone over the Avonmouth bridge, are still operating to get you at over 70mph??

i would ASSUME that if there are no warning boards alerting you to the average speed zone due to the roadworks that they would be switched off.
Re: Specs on M5
Yep there are no longer working and neither are the ones between Wellington and Taunton !!!!!!!

An unmarked dark blue/black Volvo estate passed me this evening with a set of flashing blue lights in the grill and inside the rear tailgate window ........ with no other "distinguishing" marks, and a GB sticker on the tailgate too ..... absolutley no way you'd spot it was a cop-car til the lights came on .....

Just the normal single one plus a small "mobile phone" type aerial on the rear side window ......

That blue Volvo also has, as do most of the unmarked cars a twin nearside door mirror, standard one and a smaller one on top, dark tint windows all around up to the front doors, and like has been said a GB sticker on the offside of the rear boot, very cheeky. take a look in there compound on Sowton ind est and you will usually see all sorts of colours.
