I'd love to see this succeed if only to challenge other manufacturers to reduce prices:

Unlike many "bikers" I find the idea of a quiet , smooth and cheap lightweight bike very attractive. Unfortunately I think they are aiming at the wrong market with the Yamaha-esque sports bike styling,

Got to say I would seriously consider this. Especially if it is going to be priced as suggested.

Looks a great bike and from what I know of electric motors the performance is amazing. With 400 mile range I would never need more than that for the type of riding I would do.

Very interesting

It's 90kg lighter and more torque than the mugen TT zero bike. Also has 10 times the range.
For less than a million pounds... If only it could be true.

LOL - I think they just have someone that is good with a visual design package and also good with marketing.

I'm seeing plenty of merchandise but precious little actual design detail... and they get the keep the money even if they/he doesn't achieve the target amount... Hmm..... I guess I'm cynic.

Electric bikes will only work once the battery/power source can be removed, cleanly without tools, for swapping to a charged one, or even for charging away from the bike.

I don't think charging points are the way to go, more use will be 'fuel' stations across the country where you can exchange your power pack for a fully charged one. Unless they invent a 200 mile battery which can be charged in 5 minutes.
