He makes a strong case for fitting a steering damper, I'd like one for my SD but they cost soooo much...

Yeh, they are standard on the R's but mine is the standard version. To be fair it hasn't "shook it's head" since I dialled the damping back 1 click, but it'd nice to have one anyway.
