taking an enforced break.

Post by Nigelw6 »

Looks like I will be out of action for 4 - 6 weeks.

Image

Had a fight with my table saw last weekend and and ended up blooded with a couple of chewed fingers and thumb on my left hand. Off to Treliske tomorrow to get the bandages changed and see the consultant so I should know more then. Really lucky everything is still in place so will just have to grin and bear it and put up with the awful daytime tv.

Hope to be back on the bike for the RTTB in June and certainly ready for the friendly ride in August

Be all right on a twist & go moped or even the new African twin would be ok if you can bring your self to riding a Honda! get your self in the sea that will sought it, best of luck to a speedy recovery.

Only took the one as the nurse at West Cornwall was not having a good day and I was not the best of patients.Managed to get 2 cuts and 2 breaks on the index finger. The thumb pad has gone down to the bone and the next finger is just topped

My son has a Yamaha Cygnus 125, perhaps I could borrow that for a while.

Haven’t been on here for a day or so, only just seen this.

Hope you recover as soon as expected, let me know if you want any reading material- working in Redruth now so can drop anything in after work.

If you can still work a kettle can swing round one evening.

Well first ride on the bike today in 6 weeks, just did a short 20 odd miles. All a bit sore but trying to use the left grip is helping to bend the index finger. Most uncomfortable bit was trying to use the indicators as the skin is still very thin on my thumb. Must persevere so will try to get out again sometime this week if possible.
