Well good to see that thebrider was dismissed of all charges as he should not have been charged in the first place. The thing that I find very sad is that a person that was a volunteer helping to save lives have gone through nine months of hell because of one police officer who wants to attach Bikers. That officer does not seem to have been reprimanded and is still out there and ready to try again. Apparently it’s fine for a police officer to travel at 100mph + with children in the back but it’s not ok for a Bike to filter in traffic to get to a hospital to save a life.
As a rule I think the police do a great job and have a lot of time for officers who as a rule act very fairly. But reading this just makes your blood boil

Officer was a complete and utter nob. Should be facing disciplinary, if not legal, charges over his actions.
There is, however, a big grey area around the rights of private companies and charities using Emergency Services highway exemption rights .....
