Agree about poo or mud on the road, farmers will be very nice to you. Check the road on Monday, see if its been recently cleaned, like say last Friday?? Anyway, get well soon Larry, at least you've got a whole day of MotoGP to keep you entertained today. Oh and no, you don't get extra points for getting injuries whilst out biking ;) .....

Cheers o stripey one. Hopefully will be able to get in / out of a car in a couple of days.

Chest pains slightly less but now have bruise appearing on left thigh where coins were. Also, this morning, right thumb and wrist swollen.

Have been doing some VERY gentle stretching / loosening exercises.

Managed to touch my knees. Got the cork out of a bottle of bubbly. Things are looking up.

Thanks both.

Improving very slowly. Day 12 now and still can't do anything strenuous or fast. Doing 20 min sessions on the bike when I feel up to it, and little exercises.

Onwards and upwards.

I've only just spotted this too! Larry, that sounds awful mate, though you really should've gone to A&E to be checked over....a busted rib can easily lead to a punctured lung :(

Mend soon pls! x

Cheers Smiler.

Cuts / bruises doing well. Ribs a lot better but still a way to go.

Bike taking shape, bits in the post.

Started first turn today but churning out constant blue smoke. Ticks over and revs perfik.

Hmmmmmmmm !

How long was it on its side? Inevitable there'll be some oil in the bores to burn off?

Oooh that sounds positive Mr M. Was about half an hour on it's side (I think).

Had enuff for today. Will try again on the morrow.

Tank off with help. ( Why is it that the tank needs to come off just after filling up with fuel ??)

Wiped out air box and environs - Fitted new K & N filter.

Still blowing bluers but only done two short bursts 'cos of neighbours. Hoping it will desist shortly.

Sourcing a gear lever is proving problematic.

Excellent news on bike repairs, but can you substitute another model's gear change lever if yours is problematic to find. They are all pretty generic for cost saving maybe??

Yeah, been looking at that B. No hurry 'cos I'm still incapable of riding.

Today's conundrum was shoving the mass of wiring into the front cowl space. Gave up after an hour or so.

Wine d/y arrived, that'll sort it.
