Light at the End of.

Post by MellowYellow »

Intrepidly managed to get bike, ass and head in gear and did a flat slow 10 mile out & back.

Tick over very high, gear selection difficult and a little bluers.

Bike felt secure, brakes worked as did suspension.

Gear selection improved a lot, tickover elektriks sorted themselves out and the bluers diminished. No change in oil level.

All in all a great relief. :-bd :-bd :-bd

Good news!

Clutch adjustment can affect gear changing. As can position of the spline/ball-joint piece on the selector shaft ...

Nah - have had several.

Happy to ride without in summer, but really appreciate them in winter.

Me too Larry. Bought two of them years ago, use them still and wouldn't be without 'em. As you say - brilliant; the simplest ideas always are!
