The Fut' is no more.

Post by Robbo87 »

Sad news - for me because I loved the finnicky old b*****d, and for you lot because a constant source of jokes and banter is gone!

The Fut' is deceased, dead, gone to meet it's maker, it has shuffled off it's mortal coil and gone to meet the choir invisible, it is no more, in short, it is an ex Fut' - in my ownership anyway.

I've just today trailered it home from SP M/C's after a complete check; Post Mortem really, the cause of death being multiple ailments e.g. rear hub king bearing, corroded wiring, a dead dashboard, possible faulty ecu etc. etc . . . . . .. It's beyond what I'm prepared to consider economical repair.

So, time for something to replace it. It'll be a hard act to follow though. When behaving itself it was a great bike, comfortable, brilliant at real world biking and deffo quick enough for the odd bout of red mistitis; it was easily the best sport tourer I've ever had, and I've had a few.
R.I.P. old Fut  .

Are you looking to replace her with another sports tourer?

Ooh, I saw a Falco advertised the other day! I'll see if I can find the ad - don't hold your breath .....

Edit - forgot to say, please accept my condolences. It is hard to accept the passing of a dear friend ..... :((
