Lockdown Jobs
So coming into the fourth week now and Ive just run out of jobs, 25 in all but fairly largish jobs.
Main one was the summerhouse rebuild that we inherited with this house.
Water running through the roof and windows and everywhere else, rotten floorboards, rotten roof etc etc.
Finished it all last night just in-time for the rain coming tomorrow.
What jobs have you been up to?
The waterfall
Rotting window frames causing wet and rotten floors
A redo of the wiring
And away with the rot
Wood filler in the floorboards
Drying everything out
Had to make new frames for the windows
Ah the smell of new wood, although it was a PITA to get hold of during lockdown
Gave all the the wood a couple of coats of preservative, then followed by a wood wax for the inside and protectant on the outside and a hard wood wax stain for the floor
and finally finished today
Built a new lean to while I was at it.
My arthritis is in full force now, shoulders, knees and hands, so just finished in time.

Nice job
Re: Lockdown Jobs
I've mainly been starting jobs but not finishing them.
Yesterday I got side tracked into making a sound proof enclosure around my air compressor (in the garage) as it makes me jump every time it starts. It's very loud, has an almost instantaneous ramp up and a running tone that seem to generate an instinctual panic response.
It is now muted somewhat and I can look forward to using my air wrench on the pending swing arm bearing refresh without fear of the compressors auto start happening right next to me.

Re: Lockdown Jobs
I was only furloghed for a short time now had furlough cancelled and back at work however:
Wendy's Street Triple
Fitted quick shifter
Fitted Filtrex air filter
Awaiting R spec rebuilt shock from Simon to refit (recommend the service not very expensive and along with tyres a vital service item)
Then as soon as able off to dyno at NP in Wellington for remap as carbon exhausts already fitted
Thoroughly cleaned whilst bike off the ground.
Speed Triple
Removed lower link from rear shock greased all bearings and reassembled.
Cleaned bike within an inch of its existence.
House
Endless boring and mindless chores that have been put off forever. Worth doing as now off the to do list.
