Anyone up for some mountain biking?

Post by danp88 »

Hellooooo Everone,

Just wondered if anyone on here ever did any mountain biking, if so I go out as much as I can, worst being a blast round haldon a couple of times or trail centres further afield and the odd trip to dart if i can find someone who knows where they are going haha.

Anyway if anyone fancies it let me know.

I'm more a roadie but also have a couple of mountain bikes, mainly ride the trails on the Mendips, Quantocks and Ashton Court / Leigh Woods, Bristol. With a few mates we do the occasional trip to Afan and Cwmcarn when we can get organised. Now have a caravan based near Beer so have been riding the local woods and bridleways down there - plenty of hills :D . Planning to get over to ride Woodbury Common and Mutters Moor sometime - would love some local knowledge / guide.

You need Blimey, Colin, ChrisK5, and Layne - they are up Haldon most Sunday mornings ...... Though Layne is somewhat hampered by a broken wrist at present .......
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....

Usually do Haldon but wrist not playing ball. Loads up there once you get off the beaten tracks.
