Off to get stuck in the arm for the 2nd time tomorrow.
Apparently the side effects are a bit more intense this time around.
Should be an interesting couple of days after that.

Re: getting the 2nd jab tomorrow.
You lucky bugger have not got my first one yet.
Good to know that you will be fully vaccinated.
I think it depends on which brand you have what side effects you get. My wife has had her 1st jab and she was on the Oxford one which gave her a lot of side effects after the 1st jab but I hear that its not so bad after the 2nd jab. For the Pfizer I hear you don't get much after after the 1st jab but really feel it after the 2nd.....
Not a lot of fact behind this just what I have heard from others.
Either way good luck Si and hope you don't suffer to badly with it. Either way considering what your being vaccinated against well worth it and dare I say I am quite envious.

Cheers, it doesn't stop you from catching it, just hopefully lessens the effects if you do.
I'm getting the Pfizer jab so will see what happens, been reading up on it and like you say, the 2nd one is where you get the side effects.
Ah well.

Jane (Pfizer) and I (Oxford Astra Zeneca) have both had our second jabs. Neither of us had any side effects first or second time around. Must be because we're meat eaters.

Re: getting the 2nd jab tomorrow.
My Mum had Pfizer - only slight side effects from both jabs.
Myself, Sister & her OH have all had first dose AZ.
I had 1/2 a day of feeling a bit off and slight dizziness (happened about 2 days after), tbh I had worse from the seasonal flue jab.
My sister and OH said they both felt really rough from their first dose but nothing series.
It's gonna be ages now until I get my 2nd jab, 12 weeks isn't it?
So probably June.

Re: getting the 2nd jab tomorrow.
AZ jab for us both. Both had shivers and felt bad for a couple of days. Rumours are the second jab on AZ is ok.
