Like to achieve 3 days at Portimao...
Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

Gee - decide - I did suggest 2020 Nick, not 2022! 🤣

tomr6 wrote: Oct 13th, '19, 08:42 I do 1 or 2 euro track sessions a year and your budget is slightly high but in the ball park. The costs on top of the basic package come from tyres £200 -400, repatriation insurance £50, getting and picking up the bike from the distribution centre £70, flights £120 ish, car hire £100 with fuel and ins, fuel for bike £60, food and extra nights accommodation if you choose to stay a bit longer.

Most of this can be mitigated one way or another. Drop me a pm if you have any specific questions or would like a quick chat about it.
Nice one Tom!

Do you have any plans for 2020 yet?
Probably Almeria or Cartagena in Feb or March. Just trying to line up a few things before putting the deposit down.

billinom8s wrote: Oct 15th, '19, 08:20 Where you thinking?
I suppose that’s the starting point and the tricky bit - when?

Once we have a date, people know if they can or can’t.

What’s the best way to decide on a date? I’m totally flexible except August but I’m assuming that it makes better since to go either side of our summer not slap bang in the middle!!

How about September 2020?

Gives us loads of time to plan and sort the £££!

Time of year does matter, it's still 25-30° in Portugal in September, October is still nice too, you go in July August and it's 35+, not too good for lots of Racing about like children.

I'd say pick a destination and then see which tdo is going there and when.
Offer up a poll or as it's your thread, you choose.
