Can’t tell you how pissed off I am my daughter came home from school on Thursday with a stomach bug and being sick. She recovered in 2 days but then gave it to the wife who started to be sick yesterday (saturday) Soooo that leaves me needing to look after my daughter and not able to leave.
£400 down the drain
Been looking forward to this for months
Really pissed off

Hope the rest of you enjoy what was going to be a great day.

Gutted, wished I had known sooner as would have taken the days of work.

Hope they get better soon

Well ended up having a great day after the drama before leaving was great to be there with Jimbo, Brooky and Shammy and was my first time on the Small Boys Track Bikes which was amazing and so so easy. Highly recommend it. As a single day i don't think there is much in the cost of taking your own (van, fuel, tyres, maintenance etc etc) then there is just hiring. 1st session was sighting laps and getting used to the bike by the 2nd session felt like my own :D

Having now looked at the vids of the day being on the 2015 GSXR 750 I am between 5 to 10 seconds a lap quicker then I was 2 years ago on my GSXR K1 600. I guess I would have moved on but the change in bike meant this time I was lapping in 1:55 to 2:00 mark.

Anyway for anybody who would like a look check out my videos on you tube:-

1st session and 3 sighting laps - https://youtu.be/B8H7dEuWiuI

Glad you liked the hire bike experience....good isn’t it 😎 Really think you should have a go on the 650 Rob - I know the power isn’t there but they are fantastic! If I want the 750 again I’d better book it before you do haha! Was good to see you all and glad it stayed dry for us.

On Tuesday I nearly finished at lunchtime as was drizzling but not wet enough for wets and too wet to be happy on dry tyres so waited for a bit and it chucked it down. Started to change the wheels, lefty loosey, righty tighty and half way through changing the front Mike ‘spike’ Edwards pops past to lend a hand, who was i to say no! One more session in the rain, think only about 6 out on track that time. Then called it a day.

When’s the next one..... oh Oulton on 16/5

Totally awesome day, made even better when the sun came out all day. Bike was awesome all day and I managed a few good laps and a few sessions without having a visit on to the grass :)

Found better lines and I was a 100% better than my last visit in 2016. Love the track and there is nothing like front wheel up action over the mountain.
