I did know about the cancellation but was hoping if i swapped to another day i would get away with just losing the deposit. Anyway just before i made the phone call i did one last check of the weather and what do you know it has totally change for the whole 3 day period and now looks like no rain. So with this in mind have now booked the travel lodge and will be going after all.

Just man up Rob and if it rains get wet.

It is so much fun riding in the soggy stuff.

For next time this is a great B&B - really close to circuit and lovely breakfast for £45.00 per night.

Well what a fantastic day so so glad that I did not cancel the day the weather was perfect track day weather.

Was trying out the Small Boys Triumph 765 race bike and OMG what a bike, great power everywhere, auto blipper, quick shifter, traction control, abs, lap timer on the dash and so easy to ride. Got to say the tank made a big difference as it is quite flat and wide making it easy to lean off the bike, lock into the bike and take the weight off your arms.... as you can tell impressed. So much so came home thinking time to sell the Suzuki and by a Triumph  #:-s

Anyway if anybody is interested as usual took loads of vids on the day. To start very happy with my fastest lap from the last session of the day. Sure others can go a lot quicker but for me doing a 1:53 round Cadwell I was more then happy with.
Fastest Lap = https://youtu.be/PQBJOeBKnYo

Session 1 (With 2 sighting laps) = https://youtu.be/PnXeCnU6Bvs
Session 2 (A couple of laps following Shammy then usual session fun)= https://youtu.be/yIxCLAxVLG8
Session 3 (The one trying to get a BMW1000RR watch from 7:00) = https://youtu.be/0n5x1hoBpZE
Session 4 = https://youtu.be/KqS3josyZVE
Session 5 (Our only red flag of the day in Inters) = https://youtu.be/Jq7noAgri8M
Session 6 = https://youtu.be/ZwYGmYnVS8w
Ok this requires some explaining. Just before we went out on this session somebodies bike expired leaving oil all over the track so they had to clean it up and you see the line of chalk on the start finish straight. I went out very slow on my first lap to see what it was like and Shammy over took me on lap 1......The whole session is then about me trying to make my way through traffic to catch her back up, which i manage right at the end of the session but did not manage to over take again. Came in from this session totally buzzing and can I say what a step change in Shammy's riding since the last time we were on track :-bd

Hahaha triumph lover!!
See sports bikes are over rated. Don't need a thou anymore.

Glad you enjoyed yourself.

Cracking couple of days on track!
Day 1 (29th) session 6 was brilliant!
Day 2 (30th) little bit of tuition occurring, slight changes to lines in a couple places, stopped faffing about with Park and Mansfield and PB beaten by nearly 3 seconds. Missed the 1.49 lap by .031 of a second, was on for 1.48 but missed a down gear into park and 4th didn’t pull aswell round Chris Curve so that ruined that one....next time 😁

Thank for comments folks, have been practicing a bit haha. Those couple of sprint rounds may have helped massively too 👍

How nice are those 765’s Rob? Sound great too.
