Isle Of Wight Diamond Races - will it happen?

Post by Robbo87 » Aug 8th, '20, 19:52

Seems like things are moving apace organisation-wise; there are still some concerns about whether it'll happen though. Bennets 'Bike Social' have a pretty good up-to-date grasp of things, read what they have to say here: https://www.bennetts.co.uk/bikesocial/n ... d=73757462

Yup and that will be leveled at it by all until it happens. It does appear at least to be a proper attempt with some people who know what they are doing attached to the project. Like everything else it will come down to 💰. Sponsorship may be a little hard to attract what with the economy being knackered 🤞🤞

Hope they don't get loads of bikers going over there before, riding the circuit like tits and pissing off the locals and council.

That's exactly what will happen. And remember the IOW is full of apoplectic retired colonels ready to fire off a letter of complaint.
