yeah its the lease holders donington park ventures ltd that have gone into administartion, my big sis finds out tomorrow if she still has a job, 24 years there and some jumped up nobhead comes along and in 2 years ruins a perfectly good business not sure where the future lies now as tom wheatcroft the circuits owner for the last 30 odd years died lat month and it was his vision to have f1 there he did succseed in 93 with the infamous senna win but the family may not be so keen to keep a business thats had such bad press thats not really their own fault

no surprise really.......facillities have been rubbish for years and they only did up the pits a few years back due to the mototgp boys threatening to go elsewhere.
would make a good site for a industrial estate with all that land and next to an airport

Who called you a fool

Its donington ventures limited that are in administation not donington park itself. There's a big difference between the two,its no difference to any franchisee whether it be a race circuit or a fast food restaurant. Hopefully someone will come in and step into DPVs shoes and continue to run it,if not the wheatcroft family may just run it themselves.I'm sure all will become clearer in the future. I have the official administraors email and does make interesting reading

And now that motor sport has ceased there for the time being. And the local residents are enjoying the silence. We’ll have to wait and see how that changes any future noise restrictions…………
