Le Mans Motogp 2017 More Details

Post by goatpants »

Throwing this out there to guage interest. We (Sally and I) are going to next years Le Mans round and was wondering if anyone else would care to join us. I am looking into accomodation and ferries to get the best deal/convenience package. Provisional dates are May 21st but may be subject to change and probably looking at 4 nights from the Thursday. Like I said, nothing set in stone atm but just seeing who might be interested. \m/

If anyone has any other suggestions as to where to stay or other biking type things to do if your not bothered about watching the Motogp practice then throw em in. All I can say is, the more the merrier. :-bd

Possibly.

As much as the camping is a very big part of it. I'd have to consider B&B to keep luggage down as I'd be looking to continue South after the GP.

Have fun though.

With regards accommodation, you need to sort that asap as anything in or near Le Man's fills quite quickly.

In the past we have stayed at a great hotel in a little town called Loue, but it was closed last time we went past. We've also used a place on the main road through Eccommoy, just beyond Mulsanne.

I can't remember where we stayed a couple of years ago!

Looks like this might be a no goer for a group. I heard back from the other places and it seems that they are booked up now. There are places to stay but not together as a group. I will try something for 2018 maybe and plan it well ahead. I didn't realise it would get so busy as I have never been to Le Mans, sorry guys

How far out of Le Man's are you looking? If memory serves right, we stayed in Alencon last time ......
