Whilst you can't argue about his skill & ability, his performance has been dropping steadily over several seasons and he has blocked other more deserving emerging talent from a works seat.

Still sad to see him leave, and equally sad he will be remembered as a "nearly" man like Randy Mamola .... Just without the personality

Wasn't surprised, tbh. Too many broken bones and losing his mojo all pointed to it. Great rider and racer though, was always a supporter of him.
