Dave is to still email all in-active users.

“If you wish your account to remain active on South West Bikers Dot Com, please reply to this email to confirm you wish to stay active”

Membership Fees

The membership fees will be as follows and these have now been confirmed by all:

There will be a straight fee throughout; this will be £10 joining and £10 yearly renewal. The only difference to this was couples which will pay £15 on joining and £10 for renewal each year.

The Forum

It was agreed that ALL the threads and posts be moved to the Members Area, and the following threads would remain open or created to non members:

Introduction

Ride Outs (But this would not give full details of dates, this would then Encourage people to join if they wished to see further ride out details. No Routes are to ever be posted - Unless its a Friendly Ride-Out).

Meets and Events

Track Days

Social User Galleries (To view but not post)

Woman’s Own - (To view but not post)

Reasons To Join SWB - (To be perm locked)

The Chicken Run - (To view and post)

The following forum will be removed:

4 wheel chat

For Sale Forum

Items for sale can be on for a period of 2 weeks, after which time they will be removed by admin. This is to stop people just trying to sell everything under the sun and the same item being on for months and months with the author Bumping it all the time.

The Wanted Forum

Items wanted can stay on for a period of 4 weeks, after which time they will be reoved by admin. Obviously if after 4 weeks you have had what you were after, its obvious no one has it.

Banners & Advertising

It was agreed that Phil would try and get companies to sponsor the site in return for an advertising banner.

We need at least 12 companies, so each company can supply at least one competition prize per year.

He is also to try and obtain as much money from these companies as possible.

Information to the Site

Phil will add several new forums, but one in particular about informing everyone on the site about the new changes which will take effect on the 1st March 2009.

South West Bikers Bank Account

Nick and Moosey will open an account for all monies from the site to be put into. These monies can then be used to buy the stock for the site, like stickers or whatever may be needed. We will need to find someone to keep a record of accounts.

Aviators & Signatures

It was confirmed by all those present that signatures WILL NOT be any bigger than the recommended 100 x 500 pixels.

It was also agreed that animated signature would NOT be allowed but people will be allowed to keep their animated Aviators.

Members Discounts from Other Sources:

Phil and Si will start contacting other motorcycle shops around the area, from as far away as places like Andover down to as far as Penzance.

We would also contact other organisations in regards to discounts including such things like motorcycle training, lawyers, etc.

Area Reps

The Area Reps were confirmed as follows:

North Devon - thelastsuperpower-ranger

Cornwall - CBR6Jade

Taunton/Bridgwater - gazkwak

Yeovil - Frag

Bristol/Bath - Varcon

Plowmouth - Jay (when not at sea)

The Grand Over Lord of Social Events: Dynasangel (Kelly)

The Grand Over Lord of Ride-Outs: billinom8s (Simon)

Area Reps Responsibilities

To run and organise local ride out and meets within their area.

To act a a point of contact to the Over Lords of Ride-Outs and Social events.

To obtain possible site sponsorship from companies in their individual areas.

During their role as Area Rep, they will be entitled to Full Membership.

Business Cards

Dave is to load the business card onto the website once Phil has re-designed the cards, so, if people want cards they can print them off themselves. There will be a little part of the bottom where members could put their name prior to giving the card to a potential member.

This would then allow members to build up their recommendations on the site and the winner of each period would win a prize. Each period will need to be decided, whether it be monthly, every 3 or 6 months or whatever.

Membership Cards

Phil has now put on the membership cards, its expiry date.

Links

It was suggested that maybe we could join forces with another site, and members of each other’s site could use ours and visa versa. This would need to be looked into further.
