2 way radio
Iv been taking my son out as a pillion for a year or so no but as of late thought it should be a good idea to get a 2 way radio as I'm pulling over or shouting back at traffic lights ect to make sure hes ok comfortable so on and so on .my question is any recommended brand or set ect thanks in advance

eBay BT intercoms work well. Great for music, phone calls or just chatting to a buddy or a passenger.
Ours work fine up until about 60 on our naked bikes.
Less than £40 each.
Better ones can be had but they cost considerably more.
I wouldn't be without mine now as having music on whilst riding makes it even better. I always wear earplugs and can hear the intercom and music fine.

I never bothered with intercoms for pillion. Just agreed a set of simple hand signals.
Tap of leg for overtake.
Jab in kidneys for not signalling overtake.
Thumbs up, all good?
Tap on back of lid for pullover.
Fun to take a pillion but didn't want to talk to her.

I've used the Sena SMH10 for years. Maybe a bit OTT if you're just taking a pillion but it can pair with 3 other bikes, has a good range and plays music and can use it to make phone calls. Found it invaluable when riding in a group as you can discuss changes etc to your route without having to keep stopping and shouting over the noise of an engine.

When Wendy was learning we used a cheap Chinese com from ebay. It worked very well but is limited by distance. Won't have that issue with a pillion. We have now upgraded to a Sena but the benefits of those would be lost on a pillion.
