Race licence for the TT

Post by benr8 »

I have set myself a personal goal of riding in the 2008 IoM TT, but having started investigating the requirements, mainly for the race licence, i think i will have to aim for 2009.

I looked into racing last year, on my ZXR400.. I had the bike ready to go, had my license. But the cost of travelling, racing, tyres, spares... I couldnt afford it..

No age limit, but I would in my experience of club racing hazzard a guess at early to late 30's. Most pople have a bit of spare money by then. Some young guns have raich parents or are lucky to be minted themselves, or are very talented and are picked up by a sponsor.
