Thought I'd just add my expierence ,
Had quite a few sets of leathers from cheap to the more expensive , last two sets altered by Gerry ( excellent )
But this year treated myself to BKS bespoke made to measure at Exmouth and.....wow it's like they grew on you
So yes expensive , but if you can stretch to it , worth every penny in my opinion

Good point about checking the fit with helmet too. My helmet was always catching on the hight collar of my dianese leather jacket. Blody irritating.
As for thickness of leathers most manufacturers not thickness and its important to note if decorative panels are just that or if the manufacturer bas used them to put in smaller cheaper panels.
My recent off really tore into my leathers and itwas. Basically just sliding down the road. Had a few small holes in my leathers. Dont think id wear textileas after that.

dont forget that lwr gerry can repair your lether bits.
on the point about helmet and leather fit.
i think moose had an issue with the hump on his set and the fact that his lid pushed against the hump so he couldnt get his head to tilt back far enough when leant forward on his bike.
gerry either removed the hump or reshaped it.

Re: Need Some Leathers! Any Ideas???
Well everyone, I bought a set of matchin RICHA Trousers for my jacket and the company (PGH Motorcycles Plymouth) sent me the wrong ones, so I rang them up and they said they disscontinued that model of RICHA so its no longer available. I have sent them back and even though it was not my fault they sent me the wrong ones I still had to pay return postage!!! Wont buy from them again!!!
Anyway, I went to my local bike shop and tried these on(see below), I cant believe how well made they are compaired to Richa, RST, alpinestars ect. They are very well made and fit beautifully, SO I BOUGHT THEM!

Thanks guys, Will take a few weeks to wear them in. I ended up buying them from that FC MOTO, I saved over £150.
