Thanks for all the kind comments chaps, most of you seemed to enjoy the day, I know I did.
I learned a little about how easily the best-laid 'drop off' plans can come unhinged that's for sure! - four riders got mislaid in the first two miles, but thankfully they were switched on enough to somehow find us again near the Somerset/Devon border; well done there lads, you saved the day (and me from embarrassment ) early on !
To everyone who turned up for the ride, whether you completed the full route or had to peel off early, I can only say that I hope you'll agree that there are still roads in the Southwest that are not completely over-run with traffic and anti-bike Nazis - if you know where to look, and I hope we can do it again sometime.
