Salt on the roads

Post by royb » Jan 9th, '19, 23:52

It might be fine for cars but the greasy stuff (Salt) they put down in most towns isn't very good for two wheel riders.
I ride a small trail machine most days and too often have both front and back wheel drifting; it's ok on country roads where salt hasn't been laid.
I am looking forward to the rain to wash the salt away.

Need to get the rear sliding...but not too much (as on farm excrement)
Have you noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a maniac ?

It would seem it’s that time of year again. Car was fully iced up as was I this morning. Think my bike might be staying in the garage for a few months more......

Well ok... Maybe not. A library picture would do. Just wondering what it is you have.
