Bridgetown Hill Totnes (A385)

Post by spinup »

I was riding up Bridgetown Hill (hill coming out of totnes towards turning to Berry Pomeroy) the other day AFTER the council had re-surfaced the road and I couldn't believe what a bad job they have done. Some of the manhole covers must be getting on for an inch deep. Its bad enough that they tend to put manhole covers on the 'racing line', but to re-surface and not raise the covers to the level of the road is unreal.

Maybe there is a limit on what the height should be as I think that it could catch some out if they weren't aware of them.
