Very nice - it was my first time taking pictures of bikes, so it was a bit of a learning curve!

Thanks Kate.

Being on the infield helps with panning at slow shutter speeds. I think I went down to 1/160th. Still got a lot of misses though getting a really good shot makes up for it.

Yeah they would only let one person on the infield for most of the day until I pleaded with John... I was down to 1/125 but I think I should have used a higher ISO in the afternoon when it was cloudy - so I've had to spend quite a bit of time processing.

That's OK Tracey. I'm glad people like them enough to steal them. :)):

I was talking to the marshals when I was signing on and commented on how nobody crashes in front of a photographer. Thanks Smurf! :-bd
