Fork oil

Hi need to replace fork oil on my04 r6 do I need to replace the seal as well or just the oil cheers

Hi there, welcome to the forum, where ya based?


No you don't, however you do need to make sure all the crap as well as the old oil has been removed.

Only do the seals if they are leaking.

I'm a do it whilst its apart guy, had a leaking seal, done the seals, bushes,wheel bearings, headstock bearings and popped the brake pistons out for a spruce up. I need a new hobby 🙃

The thing is the initial job was only to put some air in the tyre. :)):
