Hi all - moved to the area
Hi all,
I've just moved to North Devon with my wife and we both have bikes.
Looking forward to some ride-outs when we can socialise.

Hey fuzz. Myself and the other half are in N Devon too. We both ride. Glad to meet up sometime and introduce you to some lovely roads.

Re: Hi all - moved to the area
Thanks for the welcome.
I've got an old V-Strom 1000 and my wife has a CB500-X. I've been riding for ages but my wife only recently passed her test and we've done one long trip together around Wales before lockdown. We should move into our new place at the end of next week, then we can dust off the bikes and gear for some ride-outs.
I thought I'd included a picture of the bikes as an 'attachment' to my last post but I guess I don't know how to work this site yet.

Me too in North Devon, North Molton on the western slope of Exmoor. So like Chris goatpants, could show you the local roads. We've a few ride outs coming up, limited numbers until the route out of lockdown eases more. The ones I do tend to be at a "reasonably spirited" pace, perhaps your missus might not be ready for that yet but, as Simon says above, we also have "friendly" rides coming up which are designed to help nervous new riders in to the group.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Hope that you enjoy it here.
With us coming out of the Covid Lock down and coming out of winter think your going to find there are plenty of ride outs to choose from. Hope you catch up with you some time soon.

Then I'm guessing it was your car with the southwestbikers sticker that I noticed as I walked past which prompted me to join!ptolemyx wrote: ↑Apr 2nd, '21, 05:10 Me too in North Devon, North Molton on the western slope of Exmoor.
