Hi Everyone!

Post by DESPERADO »

Just wanted to say Hi to everyone, been a biker most of my life, living in West Devon now, retired a few years ago and bought myself another bike several months ago, it’s just like being sixty all over again!
Hoping to meet up with some of you on some of the ride outs, if I can keep up!

Greetings Mr D and welcome to SWB. As you're in West Devon you may want to pop over to Loui's Tea Rooms nr Callington around lunchtime on August 8th. There's a SWB rideout that day with a planned stop there. You could intro' yourself and tag along for the ride from there. Just a thought.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I’m riding a Harley Street Bob, while I’ve done plenty of touring at home and abroad I’ve never taken part in an organised ride out before. While I’m usually driving near the speed limits (my age dictates I’m never in any rush to get anywhere quickly any more) I can’t help the feeling I might get left behind in the dust by everyone else,
bit nervy about that, will have to wait and see on that one I guess!

Keep an eye out especially for anything titled 'friendly ride' or 'MMT' (magical mystery tour) they will be right up your alley.

Other than that people generally will say if it's going to be spirited or not. Failing that, plan and post your own, that way it's at your pace.
