Hello from the Somerset levels

Post by Fozz »

Hi,
thought id better say hello!
I came across this forum while searching for motorcycle groups in the South West.
I currently ride a Bmw XR 1000 SE and a Triumph Daytona T595.
Hope to get out on a few more ride outs this year.
Fozz.

hi there Fozz, welcome to the forum from an ex Somerset dweller.

Jump on in and have fun, we have a social run in a couple of weeks, called the cobweb.

Ever been on track? Have a look at our day at Llandow in June, top fun.

What's your spannering like? I'm trying to bring a T595 back to life atm.

There's a big plug which is a big earth busbar, that can get corroded. Worth giving a scrub.

Hey Fozz. What's the xr like? If I was allowed 4 cylinders that would be the bike.

Howdy Fozz and welcome.

I'm sure your aware Si but always make sure the big T's battery is fully charged when trying to start it as they were notorious for the sprag clutches shitin' the bed.

Eli's, a most strange establishment indeed. I remember it well from my time as a reluctant resident of Somerset in the 1980's; played a coupla jam sessions there during that time. Glad to hear it's still doing what it does best - being strange!
