Hi ian, welcome to the forum.

Glad you liked the difference in the bike.

You'll need to speak to Ptolymx about the standing quarters.

Welcome Ian.

Het stuck in and join us on a trackday or two, SWB do a nice trackday at Llandow every year. Great way to have ago if you've not been on one before. If you have we have a few members off to Pembrey on the 29th. There is also talk of a European trackday next year.

There's quarter-miling at Dakota Raceway (Smeatharpe airfield, near Honiton) on Saturday 6th October or Saturday 10th November . £35 to enter on a RWYB basis. Organised by the Straightliners crew so it's a proper event with accurate timing equipment.

I've stopped serious drag racing myself, but if you fancy a few runs at our local strip (above) I'll join you......probably on the slow Busa as the fast B-King has just thrown a wobbler.......

You might also have a look at Henstridge bike night. Last meet will be next Wednesday 26th September (evening)

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Got to say Si is very good with the springie stuff did mine and has made a world of difference. who ever had the bike before me seemed to think no suspension travel was a good idea..... either that or he was about 25 stone.

unfortunately coming to the en of the season now so not as many rides outs / track days etc but keep an eye out as sure there will be some pub meets through the dark times and whilst there is still some sun about sue there will be some more rides before the winter lock down

Hi Ian and welcome to SWB. Take no notice of this 'winter lockdown' nonsense' [-x - if the roads are dry and it aint actualy freezing there's still loads of good biking to be had. Especialy down here in God's county; we'll be grockle free for one thing  . Even in the summer we've got the best roads, the ones that the tourists don't know about. That's why you needed to join SWB, so you can jump aboard and explore 'em with us :-bd !
