Hi All,

I started riding about 7 years ago for both fun and commuting between Swindon and Reading. Moved down to Devon 4 years ago so commuting less and more fun riding. I’m 44, so most of my Bikes are about catching up on that missed decade of the 90s classics: zx6r j2, 1998 cbr 1100, and currently about to test out a 1998 cbr 600 f3. Enjoyed a couple of track days at castle Coombe and donnington park. Most of my riding has been solo to date so Looking forwards to enjoying a little more time on the bike with other people this year after a 7 month break over the winter. (I think) my riding style is smooth and progressive-I prefer to follow the line of a lot of twisties rather than all out speed.

Sounds like you'll enjoy some of these rides. Twisties are certainly more fun.

Hi and welcome to the forum

I am also 44 and been on 2 wheels since 2010. Lots going on, on here and a great time to join with ride out, track days all over the place and the odd pub meet just for good measure. Also the forum is very active with a lot of chat on all things bike

My first time was a steel frame cbr 600f one of the best bikes I had and did a few track days on it

Hi and welcome from east Devon.
Is that the Loomies Cafe run with Ptolymix or the Cornish ride with Badger you're going on? Both happening on the same day. If my new (to me) aquisition is ready I'll be on the first one, so may see you on that. Whichever one you do, have fun.

7th is a ride up to Loomies - see the separate post.

14th is a local ride starting and finishing in Taunton.

I strongly recommend putting your name down on the reserve list for Llandow (SWB track day) on the 7th June - read all about it!.

Would be good to see you on both ride outs and maybe even a little track day if you're available!!
