Hi Wayne (Brumie bloke)

Welcome to South West Bikers. I am just over in Teignmouth so not far from you. You will find the forum is quite active and whist the sun is out there is an ongoing amount of ride outs (watch in that section for details) or there are regular pub meets in Exeter on Sundays to watch the Moto GP racing.

If your heading out for a bimble yourself post it up in the ride out section and say a time and a starting point and we will see if we can get some local folk to come and join you.

In reference to rectifier problem you might want to put a new post up in the mechanical section as we have quite a few people on here who are great with the spanners and the wizardry of electrics

You got 3 posts in this conversation so far that everybody on the forum can see. When i get on here i tend to go to the 3 short horizontal lines just above the 'Board Index' then choose the option i want from the drop down menu that appears (I'm 50's and sometime struggle with these sorts of things too)

I save those fans too. From the pc case, the psu and also the ones off the processors. I used a small one recently and hot melt glued it to my optimate bike battery charger as it does get warm.
