ok, a small update that i need some input from yourselves please.

we have a pitch, 3mx6m so a good size for the space available, what the organisers ask for, which is what i'm asking you for your opinions is this.....

they ask for a donation to the cause from each pitch, so how much do you think we should contribute????

What is the plan with the stand? Are SWB going to have a few bikes to show off? I would be happy to pop along with my bike and contribute some funds for the charity 😁

If people want to have a photo with the bike they can put some cash in a charity bucket

We can put the gazebo up and have a 3x3 plot out the front of it. Get maybe 2 or 3 bikes in there, some pics, stickers, flyers etc.
I was hoping some swb members with their swb t-shirts or hoodies on to promote the forum etc.

Get some fresh blood in hopefully.

right then people, I NEED your input on this please as it's your forum too remember.

To pitch the gazebo at the show, the organisers are asking for a donation to the fund but I don't really know what kind of a figure to offer. I think last year they raised about £500 in the day so we aren't talking massive amounts to pay.

So, what offer do you think we should make?????

If we get 4 bikes on the stand then I'm happy to put £25 in the pot, if every bike owner does the same that's £100 towards there fund.

Just an idea

I'm happy to donate a tenner. If you get 9 others thats a onner. What's the charity?
What bikes do you want to show, need to do something different to the other stands.

There won't be many stands, we're quite lucky as it's the Pub we watch the motogp at they are letting us in.
There are two charities, one is the air ambulance, the other is a riders support organisation.

So we got the pitch for £40. Bargain.

All I need now are some people to come along, talk BIKES, hand out cards, talk BIKES, big up the forum and talk BIKES.

Anyone interested?

Si I am happy to put up some money to help the cause and pay for our pitch. However with family issues at home at the moment not sure how much if any time I can offer. If I can I will be there but not going to be able to confirm until very close to the time. But will do what I can.

I'm working in Dorchester Sat night/Sun morning. Depending what time I wake up I might try and pop over, likely to be well gone midday though.

I'm no longer going to be able to make this, the wife has booked a holiday to Italy. I tried my hardest to convince her not to book a nice relaxing holiday so I could go.

It a hard life and someone's got to live it. 😁
