I have used Steve Leach in Roborough for powder coating before and he was pretty good. Fair price and a good job. Just needed to remove all bearings but he done all the blasting. Heard he was in financial difficulties a while ago so it might be worth trying to ring him first. His number is in yellow pages.

its shitloads better than painting it yourself - much harder and more durable finish, as well as being easier to clean. Even with decent acrylic paints it will chip relatively easily compared with decent powdercoating.
someone suggested a place out by exeter airport on another thread recently - might be easier to get to for you.
by the way, you dont happen to have a 3.5" tzr rear wheel you want rid of do you? or want a fzr400 swingarm, shock and wheel/tyre to graft into your tzr?

Revells are out by the airport, and the other place to suggest 1st Choice finishers in Exhibition way. I'd suggest calling both and getting quotes.
Note plastic items such as fairings, etc., will need to be sprayed rather than coated as they will melt in the baking process

good idea to try 1st choice too - think they do a collection/delivery service as well which is handy.
re the fzr bits, its an 88 1wg back end, 18" 3 spoke white 4" rim, with braced swingarm, think its a 140 tyre on there - nearly new dunlop d205 (i think) from memory. Its a complete back end though - shock, swingarm, wheel, linkages, caliper, disc all ready to offer up. I was tempted to graft it into my RD but got enough projects on at the moment really. I'll send u some pics soon as I can get them.
is it a 3.5" wheel on the back of yours? Its for an xs650 project, and the front sprocket is quite close to the centre line of the bike, so anything over 3.5" and a 130 tyre and theres problems with the chain fouling the wheel hence the FZR one being no good for me. far as i know the 125rr uses a 3.5" 3-spoke back wheel, is that right?
