VAN Share...For Llandow

Post by Funky »

Does anyone want to share a van to get up to Llandow? The thing is that I don't have a car licence so can't drive, so there is a Pack of beer in it for anyone willing to drive.

Probably book up a short wheel base Transit (oooh resisting the urge to write tranny) so will be able to fit a couple bikes in...

Funky... I bought a trailer for me and Bimbo... but now we gotta get Leroy there too...

Last year we hired a lwb sprinter and easily got four big bikes in (GSXR 750, Kawasaki 600, CBR 600 and Fireblade 900)

Anyone need to hire a van speak to me first, I think I might be able to get us some discount, from the cheapest place to start with...

I might hire our trailer out to someone, hire a van again, so I'd have a place for someone.

Well I'll be paying for 2/3 of the van hire (sophie wants to come see us all in our leathers) so can be hired under the drivers name, easy peasy.

I've looked at some rentals from 31st may - late june 1st or june 2nd and they all seem to be 70-100 quid for a Short Wheel Base.

Thrifty rental seems the best price so far.

Nah, I get it cheaper than that, and if we all booked at the same time, I reckon I might get it cheaper still...

Last year I paid £55 for a Long wheel base 'Sprinter' then you've got the fuel costs on top obviously.

Sounds good, if we can all organise who is going with who before hand and then all go down there for one big job...
