You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.
Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

hahaha wasn't a challenge
Not 100% sure anyway as it's Paignton Bike Festival that weekend and I've got some friends coming down for that - not sure I could handle a rideout with a hangover! Mind you if they come down on their bikes we could add a TRX group to the rideout

my mind not only wanders ... sometimes it leaves completely
Confused now.... how can I get you lost when i'll be on the back of Dave?AndyCBR wrote:Right, I don't normally bite...Jak wrote:

... but if thats a challenge, I'm sure Ali could be tempted to babysit the kids & come up & meet us all for lunch...providing of course that Jak & Boo don't get us lost ...
I took an IQ test and i'm pleased to say it came back negative

Rach, it depends on how much you've been riding lately...
Certain parts of this route can prove rather testing, especially around Lynton/Lynmouth where the hills are very steep... and there will be a lot of traffic around...
While we won't exactly be sticking to every speed limit in group 5, we will be waiting at junctions/turn offs for people to catch up, but would prefer not to be waiting all day...
So, I would say that we will be riding at a pace where an inexperienced rider can comfortably keep up, but might struggle somewhat 2's up on the twisties... I'll leave it to you to decide as only you know your riding comfort zone and ability.

surely it all depends on who the pillion is rach, if they are heavy/light good on the back or nervous.
then its the real question....................do you REALLY want to take a pillion?
