Best antivirus ?
Got a new laptop and want to download a free antivirus software for it. currently using ca on pc and avast is loaded on the laptop ( though out of date ). Not used the avast but found ca okay. Any recommendations ? Cheers

buy a Mac - no problems with viruses.
PC's slow down to almost stand still with anti virus software (and they are bad enough already) and having known a few hackers they have all said if they know how to do it, they will just get around the software should they choose to.

AVG here too.
Got it on 5 pc's in the office and on my pc and haven't had a problem in over 3 years.
And it's free without having to find a crack or keygen.
