You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Hi

Thanks very much for all the kind words of get well soon

Well I’m home now, very sore.

Had a cracking day Ha ha  until I binned it. I don’t remember any thing about the off, only from what people and friends have told me. :?
I was at hairpin doing about 50/60mph. The bike went low first then high side and bucked me off. I came down to earth on my head first, quickly followed by my collar bone (right side) with the rest of my body following on, by this point I was knocked unconscious and had puked in my helmet (yummy).
I came around in the ambulance as he was just about to cut my left sleeve of my leathers which I informed him not to. Where he politely informed me he had already done the right sleeve. Bugger :x . Apparently I asked if my bike was OK then past out again.
After coming round in the Hospital I was in cookoo land but the staff took great care of me, from reading the reports the neurosurgeon was awaiting my arrival because of the bleeding from the right side of my brain which was picked up by the CT scan. It was boarder line if it was going to go ahead but my responses improved quickly so he was stood down and I was on observation for the next 48hrs every hour on the hour. I was moved to the ward where the staffs were great, the bed bath on the first day was excellent, :D but the food was rubbish.

Now I’m written off sick for the next couple of weeks with my cracked ribs and busted collar bone.

As for the bike that’s ready to go again, thank god for R&G sliders worth there weight in gold and gaffer tape.

PS can’t get use to this left hand typing and mouse operation.
