thats the attitude to have mate, go and enjoy the day.

ive been to silverstone in november when its been snowing, track temp was -4 and a instrusctor crashed on the circuit inspection laps. i went out and had fun and got quicker as the day progressed but just toook it relatively steady to start with until i had a feel for the place.

I am sure Llandow will have left me fully prepared for Silverstone mate, like Rich says we will go enjoy the day knowing that we need our bikes in one piece for the ride home.

when i say no what i mean is that if we dont manage to overtake anyone then maybe stick them on to slow the others down so we can get past em

Overtaking to aggressively mate got bollocked after apparently cutting up 6 riders in one overtake at the end of Pitt Straight. Hands up the overtake was bit lairy but jeez the 750 is so forgiving with its slipper clutch and excellent brakes.

Deffo inters next time though mate as it would be good to get towed around by faster riders. That bloke with one arm was feckin flying around in the fast group, unbelievable.

Fecking exellent day. Would deffo do another one.
Twas my first track day but I thought it was well organised and good value for money. Even the sun was out in force!

For me it was getting used to the width of the track thats available compared to the road. By the afternoon sessions I was getting dailed in. Always felt that the 20 min sessions were just that bit too short but I was tired by the end of the day and the times etc, all seemed about right in the end.

I spent too much time trying to get up through the group to get some open track in the morning sessions so started at the front in the afternoon. Much better sessions for me anyhow. Deffo do inters next time depending on the track.

The BSB R1 bikes with Rutter and walker werent half bad either!! 8)

Good little blat back home with Si from silverstone   ended the day. several beers in the eveing and that was me done.

Right, gotta have a go at Brands, Cadwell and maybe Donny.

yeh you definaely have the right back for making late breaking easier, the stock slipper clutches on gsxr's are damn good.

Id say not having a mental block on overtaking is half the battle, next stop a bollocking in the inters  .
