are the old bill still as hot on plates/cans etc?

i have been told they have a habit of writing tickets while you are having a wander about.

having never been there what goes on there ? what time it start ?
are there stands there? whats the easiest route in from dorchester ?

Hey all

Poole Quay nights on a really good day can turn out thousands of bikes, they close of a section of poole where you pay £1 to park (goes to some charity if i can remember)Starts at 18 and ends around 22. I try to go down 3/4 times a year. You do get the odd stall selling tyres, t-shirts on occassions but not often. Lots of good pubs and places to eat line the front. Last couple of times i went down the Honda and Suzuki team juggernaunts were down there, Jonathan Rea, Chris Vermeulan and Co.

Never had any problems with police, i have never seen them walk up and down checking bikes for defects etc..

Been a few times, normally hundreds of bikes there!

Never seen police issuing luv notes but just be a bit careful getting there. I got chatting to one of the police riders down there last year who said there is one fatality nearly every week in that area - how much truth there is in that I coldn't say..... could be more cameras etc as a result tho...??

I'll try and make a few this year (if we get a Summer!)

Easy from Dorch mate.... up to Bere Regis and A35 all the way til you see the signs for Poole..

I think everyone has covered whats there... if its a good evening there is an overspill park further along from the Quay but be prepared for a bit of a walk! Loads of pubs and food places. Bikes and bikers of all shapes and sizes!

Obviously watch the plod coming in and out of Poole... never seen them on the Quay writing tickets though..

arm bands are about £5 ! have never bothered with one myself
